Capt. James Netzel, owner of Tight Lines Guide Service has been a full time fishing guide since 2012. Though he started fishing as soon as he was able to hold onto a fishing rod, and now guiding full time, still manages to enjoy fishing in the offseason. James is known for chasing the 70 degree temps with Delta Stripers mid March thru mid May. Then when the valley gets too hot, he heads for the hills and fishes Stampede kokanee till mid September. When the weather cools down in the valley, James heads home to fish Sacramento Metro Kings till the end of the season. He’ll also mix in some Folsom trout when he can find the time.

One thing James takes very serious is the honoring of our Veterans with a $50 discount and flying a flag when he has the privilege of having a Veteran on board
